SOLD - LF&C M1917 Trench Knife

5/8/24 - This is an original, iconic WW1 US M1917 Trench Knife. The knife comes complete with an original scabbard. The knife blade is 3-sided with a very minor bend at the tip. Otherwise this example is excellent. There's mild finish loss on each side of the blade and on the blade tip, but overall the original finish on the blade is near-excellent for a WW1 example. The hand guard has a few small dings and imperfections, but the original finish is mostly intact. Very nice wood handle with no cracks or chips. The scabbard is excellent with clean leather body and minimal patina on the metal tips. The scabbard has markings that appear to read 'HE' on the bottom, and 'MS' on the tip.
