Description
5/7/26- For sale is a LFC 1917 trench knife. This was the first variation of an American trench knife, with the famous brass knuckle variant coming in 1918. The triangular blade is designed for piercing rather than cutting and is very bright, with minimal wear or patina. The knuckle guard has the appropriate studded pattern and heavy bottom rivet. The top of the guard is stamped "U.S. L.F.&C. 1917". The wooden grip is intact with no cracking or chipping. "P4121" has been scraped into the wood. The scabbard is a modern reproduction of a Jewell 1918 scabbard. Overall in very good condition.
