The stock features the internal serial number "9663," with "4959" marked on the left side, suggesting a possible arsenal renumbering or mismatch. A "W" is stamped on the tip of the stock, likely a proof or inspector's mark. The butt plate exhibits patina consistent with its age, and while some of the finish is peeling throughout, the stock remains in overall nice+ condition.
