M1 Garand Stock – Boxed Eagle Marked

5/15/25 - This is an original M1 Garand rifle stock in Nice++ condition, showing only minor scuffing on the right side and bottom. It features several desirable markings, including a boxed eagle with three stars stamped on the right side beneath where the rear of the receiver would sit—likely indicating a post-war rebuild or inspection mark from an arsenal such as Red River or Anniston. The stock also has the correct firing proof “P” stamp on the front of the pistol grip, along with the number “286” stamped into the bottom of the grip. On the right side of the buttstock, the serial “21K1201” is marked vertically, adding further character and traceability to the piece. The stock includes the original front ferrule and sling swivel but is missing the metal buttplate. A solid and authentic stock overall—perfect for a restoration project or a period-correct build for any Garand collector.
