SOLD - WWII 1911A1 Brown Bakelite Grips - Keyes Fibre (LG041125-08)

4/14/25 - This is an original set of WWII-era brown Bakelite grips manufactured by Keyes Fibre Co. for the U.S. military M1911A1 pistol. These grips are made of bakelite with sharp diamond checkering and reinforced screw holes—hallmarks of authentic wartime production. The reverse sides of the grips are marked with matching Keyes star “K” logo's and numbers “17” next to the stars, which is typical of genuine sets. Both panels are in excellent condition with strong checkering, no cracks or chips, and retain great color and texture. The left grip has "70" painted in red on the left grip, this is likely a rack number. These grips are correct for Colt, Remington Rand, Ithaca, and US&S WWII-issued 1911A1 pistols and are perfect for a historically accurate restoration or collection display.
