4/23/25 - This is a 1949 Israeli Mauser Kar 98k MK.1A bayonet with its matching scabbard, both in Great+ condition. The blade retains a nice black finish and shows only mild scabbard wear. It is unsharpened and has just a couple of minor dings near the point — nothing that distracts from its overall appearance. The blade is marked in Hebrew: “Bayonet Mk. 1A Manufacture 101.1949”, with an additional “49w” date marking below. The handguard shows some light scratching, while the grip panels and pommel are in great shape and marked with a serial number. The scabbard has a clean dull black finish with only minimal wear. It is properly marked near the mouth and matches the bayonet, making this a desirable and complete set from the early IDF era.
