Description
4/23/25 - This Chilean M1895 Solingen bayonet is in great overall condition and comes with its original leather frog. The blade is unsharpened with moderate speckling throughout, adding a classic, aged look. It is marked with Weyersberg Kirschbaum & Co. Solingen at the base of the blade, along with a stared crest and three circles on the opposite side, indicating its German craftsmanship. The wood grip is in excellent condition, with no cracks or chips, and the pommel shows some mild speckling. The bayonet’s serial number H1955 is present on the pommel, adding to its historical value. The scabbard is in good condition with moderate wear, and while the serial number on the scabbard does not match the bayonet, this is typical for military-issued equipment from this era. The leather frog is in excellent condition, with the original strap intact. It’s unmarked, but the brown leather is sturdy and clean. This is a complete and original Chilean M1895 Solingen bayonet set, perfect for collectors interested in South American military history, Mauser bayonets, and Solingen-made items.Specifications
