SOLD - Swedish M1896 Bayonet with Scabbard and Frog

5/15/24 - This is an original Swedish M1896 bayonet with scabbard and frog. This example has a nice blade with some typical wear, minor chips in the blade, light spots of oxidation/discoloration and a sharpened blade but no pitting. The blade's maker mark and serial number is on the left side of the blade and a swiss crown on the right. Excellent grip with very little wear. The pommel and handguard have a little wear but no oxidation or pitting. The handguard also has a serial number punched into it. The scabbard is in great shape with a dull finish and marked E.A.B on the mouth and a swiss crown on the tip. There is very little wear underneath the frog but no serial number. Functions properly. The frog has some soft pliability but all the closure straps and buckles are intact with only minor wear. A B is stamped into the face of the frog.
