SOLD - Gold Wound Badge (30 – Hauptmunzamt of Vienna) with Case

5/22/24 - This is an original WW2 Gold Grade Wound Badge in zinc. The front and back of the medal has some minor patina but is in overall great condition. This badge no longer shows any of the original gold wash, with the exception of the pin on the reverse. Since the pin is not zinc, the gold wash remains. The maker on this badge is ‚Äú30‚Äù (shown on the reverse of the wound badge), which can be attributed to the Hauptmunzamt of Vienna firm. The original case shows moderate wear including the left side being pulled off as well as the top of the case being split at the corners. The hinge works as intended and in great shape. On the bottom of the case is the blue manufacturer sticker labelled, ‚ÄúHauptm?ºnzamt Wien III.‚Äù
