Description
12/13/24 - This is an original Springfield Armory M1 Garand stock from the WWII era, marked with the firing proof test stamp and crossed cannons ordnance mark, indicating production during the war. The stock is in excellent condition overall, with a few minor dings in the wood throughout, consistent with age and handling. The stock also features a MRT leather cheek pad dated February 1952, which was added post-war, likely during the Korean War or later. The leather pad is in great condition, with no significant cracking or damage. This stock is an ideal piece for collectors or those restoring an M1 Garand to its WWII configuration, with the added bonus of the period-correct cheek pad. This stock also comes with a cleaning kit that was stored behind the butt plate. Please refer to the photos for a closer look at the condition and markings. Feel free to reach out with any questions.Specifications
