SOLD - WW2 M1 Carbine Stock - Rock Island Arsenal

12/13/24 - This is an original M1 Carbine stock in Great condition, featuring sharp and well-defined markings. The stock is marked with RIA/EB on the side, indicating it was rebuilt or inspected at Rock Island Arsenal and approved by inspector Eugene Biondi. Additionally, it bears the crossed cannons ordnance stamp, signifying its acceptance into U.S. military service. The stock includes a fireproof testing "P" marking underneath the pistol grip, a hallmark of military-issued stocks. A "10" marking near the sling attachment point further ties it to the inspection or batch tracking system from its time in service. The stock has a few minor chips near the action area but remains structurally sound. The finish is intact, with no cracks or splits, making it ideal for restoration or as a display piece.
