12/13/24 - This is an original WWII Springfield Armory M1 Garand stock, marked SA/GHS alongside a large crossed cannons ordnance stamp, indicating inspection under Colonel Gilbert H. Stewart during early WWII production (1940–1943). The stock is in Excellent+ condition, featuring clean wood with minimal signs of wear or handling, making it an exceptional example of its kind. A sharp and well-defined firing proof "P" stamp is present on the pistol grip, further adding to its authenticity. Included with the stock are the ferrule, swivel, and buttplate, though one buttplate screw is missing.
