Description

4/28/20 - This is an original WW2 Luftwaffe double-barrel flare gun. It is chambered in 26.5mm (4 Bore). These signal pistols were issued to Luftwaffe aircrews in order to give them a method of communication that did not rely on their radio transmitters. This particular example is marked 1943 with a "gpt" makers mark. The left side of the frame is marked "Ln 24483" near the front. The right side of the gun is marked with the serial number. The barrels have a "4" in a circle and are each waffenamt. There is also a waffen proof between the Left/Right switch. The gun is in fantastic condition. It has retained almost all of its finish. Operates well. The bore is minty. No FFL required.
