10/29/20 - This is a very nice example of Walther PP rig issued to the Luftwaffe in 1941. This gun is matching, has the proper "Waffen 359" military proofs, and is in the correct serial range to have been issued to a pilot or flight crew in the Luftwaffe. The bluing rates about 90%. There isn't much actual finish loss, but there is minor freckling and spotty oxidation throughout. There is minor muzzle wear, wear on the high edges, and an area of wear on the right side of the slide. There are a few small dings, most noticeable on the tang and base of the back strap. It comes with excellent Walther grips, one post-war magazine, and a nice Akah-marked brown leather holster. The bore is excellent - shiny with strong rifling.
