M-42 Single Decal Army Helmet

7/17/25 - The following is a good example of a German M42 helmet. Most of the original paint is still intact and the German army decal on the left side of the helmet is mostly visible with some minor chipping at the edges and one spot on the wing. The helmet has significant scratches throughout, as well as some freckling of patina around the crown and dome of the helmet. The interior metal in the helmet has freckles of oxidization and there is one spot of rust on the right side by the brim and band. The steel band and leather liner are present. The leather liner is partially intact but is heavily ripped and the leather is brittle and firm. The leather chinstrap is intact with some surface cracking.
