Description

Date Added: 11/10 - This is a factory engraved PP that is in a well known serial range. There is a group of these engraved guns that were in the factory at the end of the war. They were not proofed, and had part of the slide reserved for custom inscriptions. They have been documented and discussed at length in books and in Auto Magazine. For example, there are about 8 reported with blank partial slides like this one, but there is also the following; 215297 - Presented to General Patton, 215301 - Presented to M.S. Eddy, 215309, 90th Div. presented to E.W.Beckman, 215335 - H. Himmler presentation gun, and 215361- presented to Albert Speers.
