M35 Double Decal Luftwaffe Droop Tail Helmet

7/16/25 - The following is a good example of an M35 German helmet. The original factory apple green paint is mostly intact, with significant scratches throughout. The Luftwaffe decal on the left side of the helmet is visible with some minor fading and scratches throughout, and the tri-color shield decal on the right is torn about halfway off but still visible. There is freckling of patina on the exterior of the helmet around the crown and dome. The interior of the helmet has some oxidization throughout including one spot of rust on the right side by the chin strap. The aluminum liner is in place but broken and still holds the leather liner which is intact. The leather liner is soft and malleable and has some surface cracking around the band. The leather chin strap is also intact and is soft and malleable. Made by SE, size 64, Lot # 3115.
