Description
7/21/25 - The following is an example of a Mark I Model 1918 Trench Knife that would have been created and issued to American servicemen. There is excellent patina on this piece with no evidence of surface or deep rust. The blade is firmly intact with the handle and there is no loose parts. There are no manufacturers marks on the entire blade, and the "U.S. 1918" that was stamped on the handle along with a possible manufacturer mark is missing as well, so we can not verify 100% that is authentic to WWI or was issued during that time or if this is a very early reproduction. The scabbard to the blade was created after WWI and is not original to the blade.
