Description

3/19/26- For sale is a nice matching K98 bayonet and scabbard from 1936. The blade is nicely blued and has some finish wear mostly concentrated towards the blade tip. There are no blade chips or serious damage. One side of the blade is serialized "3869h", the other side is marked with the S/185 manufacturer code, and the blade spine is marked with the 36 date code. The wood handles are intact and have no deep scrapes or cracking. There are two very early proof eagles on the pommel. The scabbard is also blued with some wear and patina but no major damage. The scabbard lip is marked with the S/185 manufacturer marking with the date code 36 just below it and is serialized "3869h". Overall in excellent condition.
