Description
10/09/26 - For sale is a 91/30 Mosin Nagant made by Tula in 1940. The rifle has the usual post-war Soviet refurbished finish on the metal. The barrel shows oxidation on the surface, and the bolt has old corrosion damage to the surface. The stock had its finish stripped and refinished, and a reinforcing crossbolt was installed through the wrist. The bore is a 7/10. The grooves are dark from corrosion, but the lands are bright with fair rifling. The rifle has matching numbers on the bolt, barrel shank, buttplate, and magazine floor plate. Import mark on the receiver. A Soviet M91/30 from Tula, made the year before Operation Barbarossa - a cornerstone rifle for any WW2 collection.
