Description
10/08/26 - For sale is a Mauser (42) K98k made in 1938. The rifle has the majority of its bluing, with some of it remaining on the receiver. The metal is now a dull grey with a brown tint of patina. The stock has been lightly sanded, but there are no cracks or breaks. The stamps by the takedown disk are faint. The bore is a 7/10 with bright lands, but the grooves are darkening, and there is some light surface corrosion visible in the grooves. Comes with an original wartime leather sling. The cleaning rod is a reproduction.
