Description
10/29/26 - This is a M1921 Mauser "Bolo", manufactured in the 1920's. The Treaty of Versailles, signed in 1919, imposed restrictions on pistol barrel lengths and calibers on German arms manufacturers. Mauser began manufacturing a compliant version of the C96 for commercial sale with shorter, 3.9 inch barrel. Mauser banner on the left side of the frame. It is matching except for the bolt stop, and "Double Crown U" proofed. The gun has been re-blued and shows essentially no finish loss. Fitted with a set of modern reproduction "Red 9" grips. It comes as a rig with a wood stock - a few repaired chips and cracks, and the metal fittings are noticeably pitted. Chambered in 9mm Luger. Excellent bore with strong rifling.
