Description
11/19/25 - This is a M1921 Mauser "Bolo", manufactured in the late 1920's. The Treaty of Versailles, signed in 1919, imposed restrictions on pistol barrel lengths and calibers on German arms manufacturers. Mauser began manufacturing a compliant version of the C96 for commercial sale with shorter, 3.9 inch barrel. This one is all matching except for the bolt stop. It has lost virtually all of its finish with spotty patina and discoloration throughout. There is a significant dent on the right side of the frame (doesn't seem to affect functionality). Fitted with un-numbered wood grips - bruising on both sides. It comes with a period-correct holster that has a missing belt loop, several holes (likely from pins), and added slots on the back. The condition of the bore is poor - the rifling is essentially completely worn with minor pitting throughout.
