Description
5/23/26 - This is an example of a Mauser Model 1914 that was issued to the German Army during WW1, most likely being issued to a German officer. All matching with an Imperial military proof on the top of the slide near the rear sight. It was later exported, as evidenced by the "Germany" marking on the right side of the frame. The gun has retained roughly 80-85% of its original bluing with high-edge wear, muzzle wear, extractor wear, and heavy wear on the front strap. The fire blued trigger shows partial loss of its coloring. Fitted with a period-correct one-piece wood grip in excellent condition. Bore has solid rifling but is dark and has a bit of oxidation.
