Description
11/6/26 - For sale is a replica Sterling L2A3 (Mk 4) submachine gun made by Model Gun Corporation (MGC) of Japan. MGC was one of the best known Japanese makers of realistic metal model guns, and its Sterling closely copies the British Army's L2A3 with the perforated barrel shroud, side-mounted magazine, and underfolding stock. The right grip panel is marked "MODELGUN CORPORATION MGC" around the grip screw. This is a toy gun, not a functional firearm, and it does not have a real barrel. It does not require an FFL. The stock folds, the trigger moves, the bolt moves in and out, and the magazine comes in and out, though the magazine is stiff and has trouble locking into place. It comes with a green web sling. The finish shows light handling wear. A great display piece for the Cold War or British small arms collector. Please see photos for details.
