2/28/26 - This is a near-mint Smith & Wesson Pre-Model 10 Revolver from about 1945-1946. Chambered in .38 Special with a 2" barrel. It comes in a period-correct box - not numbered. The gun has retained nearly all of its original high polish bluing with just a very light roll mark on the cylinder and the tiniest bit of wear under the barrel. An area of very light scratching on the cylinder. Excellent case-hardening on the hammer and trigger. Very nice checkered Walnut grips. Mint bore. Timing and lock up are excellent.
