Description
10/26/26 - This is a mint example of a Smith & Wesson Model 29-2 revolver, chambered in .44 Magnum with the long 8 3/8" barrel, manufactured in 1980. Introduced in 1955 as the first revolver chambered for the then-new .44 Magnum cartridge, the Model 29 was billed as the most powerful handgun in the world and became a legend after the Dirty Harry films of the 1970s, and the pinned-and-recessed 29-2 guns are among the most desirable of the line. It comes in its wood presentation case with cleaning rods and owner's manual. The original high polish bluing rates 98%+, with just the slightest hint of muzzle wear and a very light roll mark on the cylinder. Excellent case hardening on the hammer and trigger. Fitted with minty checkered walnut grips. Like-new bore, 10/10.
