11/9/22 - This is a mint Remington Rand 1911A1 that was owed and inspected by Charles Clawson, the renowned author of the Colt "big book", Colt .45 Service Pistols. The listing includes a COA from his wife, who sold some of his collection after he passed away. This particular Remington has 98-99% of the original parkerized finish, with only tiny bits of high edge wear. Proper Flannery barrel with mint bore. Sharply checkered grips. One original Risdon magazine.
