Description

3/25/21 - This is a mint example of a Remington Rand Model 1911A1 issued to the US military in 1944. It is "US Property" marked and has the proper military cartouche. It has "RIA" and "FK" arsenal markings. The finish looks completely original to us, so although it has these arsenal markings, we do not believe it has been refinished. It has a Hi Standard barrel. The gun has retained about 99% of its finish. There is just a small hint of wear around the high edges. It comes with excellent grips and a period-correct magazine. The bore is very nice - shiny with strong rifling and minor freckling in the grooves.
