Description
10/6/20 - This is a minty example of a Mauser Luger P.08 issued to the Nazi military in 1935. At this time, because of restrictions under the Treaty of Versailles, the Germans were trying to hide production numbers so these early Mauser lugers were given letter codes rather than dates above the chamber. The toggle has the "S/42" Mauser factory code. This particular gun is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 63" military acceptance proofs. It has retained between 96-98% of its original bluing. There is minor muzzle wear, wear on the side plate, on the high edges of the frame, and small areas of the base of the straps. It has minty un-numbered grips. It comes with a rare "B 90" marked magazine that does not match the gun. The bore has great rifling, but there are some areas of light freckling.Specifications
