Description

1/25/19 - This is a near-mint Nazi Mauser Luger from 1939 with spare magazine and 1939 dated holster. The pistol retains ~98% original blue with minor muzzle and sideplate wear, as well as light patina/thinning along the top of the barrel. The original grips are present and matching to the gun, and show hardly any age or handling wear. One magazine is matching to the pistol but the numbering is not original. The other is a mismatched but original magazine from the era. The holster is in very good condition with sharp maker mark and waffen proof, though a previous owner did scratch 'N2949' into the side of the magazine pouch. Our best guess is this is a Navy property number that was scratched in, perhaps by the vet who it was issued to but no way to be sure. Pistol has a minty bore.
