11/3/25 - This is a minty example of a Walther P1 from July of 1964. All matching, but there is an import mark on the left side of the frame. The right side of the frame has a "crossed-out" BMI marking. This stands for Bundesministerium des Innern (the German Federal Ministry of the Interior) and indicates the pistol was originally government-issued to a federal/internal security agency (police, federal services) rather than a purely commercial sale.The gun comes with two magazines and a 1962-dated black leather holster. The gun has retained nearly all of its finish with just hints of wear around the muzzle and on the front edges of the slide. Mint bore. De-cocker is functional.
