Description
9/22/26 - This is a near-mint example of a Smith & Wesson Model 28-2 Highway Patrolman Revolver, manufactured in 1954 and chambered in .357 Magnum. It is all matching with a 6" barrel. It comes with its original matching-numbered box, wax paper, cleaning rod, manual, a generic tan leather holster, and a factory letter. According to the letter, it was shipped to Morley Murphy Co in Green Bay, WI on July 1, 1954. The gun has retained nearly all of its bluing with just a light roll mark on the cylinder and some light pin-pricking on the left side of the front sight. Fitted with hand-checkered wood grips. Mint bore.
