Description
3/11/26 - This is a near-mint example of an all-matching Smith & Wesson Victory Revolver sold to the US commercial market in the 1940's. It was one of the earlier guns to go to the commercial market and it has a nice blued finish. It has a 4 inch barrel and comes with a period-correct box. The “SV” prefix was introduced to indicate the addition of an improved hammer block safety system. The box is not matching-numbered, but only one digit off (#806298). The gun has retained nearly all of its bluing with just a hint of muzzle wear, hints of dulling on the grip straps, and a very light roll mark on the cylinder. Fitted with minty hand-checkered wood grips. Mint bore.
