Description
3/1/19 - This is a mint Smith & Wesson Model 14 revolver in the original S&W box. The gun shows only minor edge wear and a roll mark on the cylinder, with a mint bore. Believe the serial dates this one to the early 1960s, making it C&R eligible. The box is hand numbered and matching to the gun on the bottom. It is also labeled 'Smith & Wesson K-38 Heavy Masterpiece Target Hammer Target Stocks'. Notice the pistol has a larger "target style" trigger and hammer. These add scarcity to this model. The K-38 Target Masterpiece was originally manufactured in 1947, then later renamed the Model 14 in 1957 when all Smith & Wesson revolvers were given numerical model numbers. This one is marked MOD-14 inside the cylinder well. The gun features nice case hardening on the trigger and hammer, with excellent grips. Beautiful all original condition.Specifications
