5/14/26 - This is a minty example of a Colt Government Model 1911. From the included Colt Factory letter, it was shipped to F&V Guns & Dogs in Colby, Kansas on January 12, 1970. This particular gun also comes with a Certificate of Authenticity that states it came from the personal collection of Ed Brown, founder of Ed Brown Products, a family-owned and operated, American firearms company. The certificate lists this gun by serial number and is signed by Karri Brown. The gun itself has retained about 97-98% of its original finish with just very minor high edge and muzzle wear. Fitted with minty wood grips with the Colt medallion. It comes with a spare set of grips and one magazine. Minty bore.
