Description
4/15/19 - This is a fantastic, original and early example of an Inland produced M1 Carbine. Barrel date is August of 1943, and serial is an early six-digit (602xxx). The finish on metal parts is near mint, with very minor barrel wear and some finish loss on the buttplate. Excellent stock with circle P on wrist and IO marking in sling well. Flaming bomb is also present in the sling well, and the handguard is IO marked as well. High wood stock with very rare I-cut sling well. I cut stocks were only used in the first few months of production. Rear sight has no signs of staking. No bayo lug or signs of one having been present at any point. Original early style WW2 sling. Mint bore is shiny with strong rifling.Specifications
