Description
2/25/26 - This is a very nice example of an AC 45 Walther P.38 made at the very end of WW2. This is a GI mismatched gun, put together by an American GI when the Walther factory was liberated. All of the parts are mismatched and in the proper "c" serial block, correct for this variation. It also only has one "Eagle 359" military acceptance proof on the right side of the slide, indicating it was never issued. It has a mixture of phosphate and blued parts, also correct for this variation. It has retained about 90% of its original finish. The majority of the wear comes in the form of thinning on the front strap, but there are also hints of high edge/muzzle wear and a few very light surface scratches on the slide. Fitted with reddish phenolic grips and comes with a jvd magazine. Excellent bore with strong rifling. De-cocker is functional.
