Description

4/12/17 - This is a minty 1945 Spreewerke P.38 - one of the last ones made.  The original finish is nearly mint, though the barrel and front strap may appear visually to have some thinning.  In my estimation, this is actually due the rough late war machining, as the barrel shows machining circles that get lighter in color, almost the way it looks when a printer begins to run out of ink.  It is not dipped, as evidenced by springs in the white, original S and F paint intact, and the back of the barrel in the white.  Superb grips and JVD marked mag.  Excellent bore.
