SOLD - Minty Nambu Type 14 - 1944 Mfg

8/21/20 - This is a minty example of a Nambu Type 14 pistol issued to the Japanese military in 1944. This gun is all matching. The original matching firing pin is currently inside the gun, but it is chipped. We've included a spare period-correct firing pin with the gun. The gun also comes with an excellent, period-correct magazine that is mismatched to the gun (but the serial number is close). The gun is in minty condition, retaining about 99% of its original bluing. There is extremely light high-edge wear and some wear on the slide near the rear of the gun. There is a spot of rainbow-colored discoloration on both sides of the gun, near the tang - could be part of the original finish. There is a small area of surface rust just below the serial number. There are very small dots of oxidation here and there, most noticeable on the barrel and underside of the trigger guard. The grips are in excellent condition and match the gun - just a few light handling marks. The bore is excellent - shiny with strong rifling.
