3/13/26 - This is a beautiful, near-mint example of a Pre-WWI commercial Mauser C96 from 1905. It is all matching and was sold in the French market, as evidenced by the French retailer marking on the barrel, "Manufacture Francaise d'Armes & Cycles de Saint-Etienne". It comes as a rig with an un-marked and un-numbered wood stock - a couple of hairline cracks in the body. The gun itself has retained nearly all of its finish with just the slightest hints of high edge wear and a couple of tiny spots of minor pitting on the right side of the frame. Excellent straw-coloring and bright fire-bluing on the small parts. Fitted with mint matching-numbered wood grips. Mint bore.
