Description

4/30/21 - This is a near-mint example of a Remington Rand Model 1911A1 issued to the US military very late in 1945. The gun is all correct, is "United States Property" marked and has a cross-canon military cartouche. High Standard barrel. The gun has retained about 98% of its original finish. There are just hints of wear on some of the high edges and very minor thinning on the straps. A few small areas of minor discoloration on the left side of the slide. Comes with excellent grips and a period-correct magazine. Excellent bore - shiny with strong rifling.
