3/1/26 - This is an excellent example of an all-matching Smith & Wesson Victory Revolver sold to the US commercial market after the conclusion of WW2. It was one of the earlier guns to go to the commercial market and it has a nice blued finish. This revolver has retained about 97% of its original finish. The only visible wear is a mark of finish loss on the underside of the barrel and a light roll mark on the cylinder. A few tiny handling marks and scratches here and there. The bore is bright with deep rifling but has some frosting in the grooves. Has a 4 inch barrel. Fitted with excellent wood grips. The right grip is numbered to the gun and the left grip is unnumbered. The box it comes with is not correct for the revolver. It is an original Smith & Wesson Military & Police model box and would not have gone with this revolver.
