2/17/26 - This is a near-mint example of a 4th change Smith & Wesson Military & Police M1905 manufactured around 1935. This revolver is all-matching with the barrel, cylinder, yoke, star extractor, and grip panel matching the frame. This M&P has retained almost all of its original finish with only light muzzle wear and a hint of high edge wear. There is a faint turn line on the cylinder and tiny hints of edge wear, but beautiful condition overall. Fitted with the original wood grips (serialized on the inside of the right grip panel), there are no signs of cracks or chips in the grips themselves. The four inch barrel on this Smith & Wesson has a bight bore with crisp rifling. There are very little signs of use throughout the inside of the barrel. Mechanically sound with proper timing and lock-up. This firearm comes with a period-correct gold Smith & Wesson box, though it is serialized to a different gun.
