2/12/26 - This is a near-mint example of a Smith & Wesson Victory Revolver issued to the US military in 1944-45. It is all matching, and the top strap is marked "US Property" with "GHD" inspector initials and a military flaming bomb proof. The “SV” serial prefix indicates late-war production (circa 1944–1945) and denotes an improved hammer block safety design added by Smith & Wesson. This one has retained about 97-98% of its original parkerized finish with just the slightest hints of high edge and muzzle wear. Mint bore. Fitted with minty un-numbered wood grips.
