Description

5/8/17 - This is a near-mint and early Walther ac 42 P.38.  It is in the A block, making it a February manufacture date.  All the small parts are waffen proofed, including the hammer, trigger, and levers.  The original finish rates at about 98-99%, with only minor edge wear.  It is all matching, including the slide, frame, barrel and locking block.  The grips and magazine are both unnumbered.  Magazine is E/359 proofed, grips are not, though they are a correct early pair.  Bore has some frosting and minor freckling, I'd rate it a 6 or 7.
