Description
7/2/26 - This is a minty example of a Smith & Wesson Victory revolver, issued to the US military during WW2 and chambered in .38 Special. It is all matching with a military "P" proof on the right side of the frame. It comes with a Smith & Wesson factory letter that states serial number V760934 was shipped on May 11, 1945. However, this gun has no "V" prefix and clearly never had one. We can't explain the difference. We assume this is just a clerical error on the paperwork. In any case, the gun has retained about 97-98% of its original parkerized finish with hints of high edge / muzzle wear and a light roll mark on the cylinder. Case-hardening on the hammer and trigger. Fitted with mint wood grips - the right panel is numbered but mismatched. Mint bore. Comes with a minty tan leather holster.
