07/31/26 - For sale is a Late War Nagoya Type 99 Arisaka 10th Series chambered in 7.7x58. This rifle exhibits many of the late war features as the rifle was simplified for manufacturing. The metal has aged to a brown patina with some freckles of surface oxidation. The stock is clean without any cracks or breaks. The wood buttplate is absent. The bore is bright with fair rifling, but some light spots of corrosion at the muzzle. The rifle has matching numbers on the receiver, bolt, safety, and firing pin. The Imperial Mum has been ground and the bayonet lug was removed for an unknown reason. The rear slight loop is also absent.
