Description
01/27/26 - For sale is a Nathan Starr Model 1816 musket that was updated to percussion fire. These rifles originally started as a flintlock musket. This example was made in 1830 and was updated to percussion fire in 1862. The metal has freckles of old oxidation and patina throughout. The stock is in great shape but has been sanded. The bore is fair with oxidation towards the muzzle but brightens up half way. The trigger is stiff but functions properly.
