Description
11/21/23 - This is a clean example of a Starr Army Model 1863 revolver that was originally made back around the Civil War. The Union Army had purchased 25,000 units of these single-action revolvers. These revolvers were originally chambered in .44 caliber but this example has been converted into a centerfire cartridge but we cannot confirm which cartridge. The revolver retains much of its original bluing but the barrel lost much of its bluing with spots of prickling. The receiver has spots of finish loss and a lot of edge wear. The bottom of the pistol grip has a "B" etched into it.Specifications
